Cotton Candy and other Sweets

Finished up the Cotton Candy Quilt top. The pattern is from Bonnie Hunter's book String Fling and is the last one in the book. I just love it. I have used all batik and hand dyed fabrics. Some are also hand done batiks by me. Those are extra special. I am planning to keep this quilt for me in the living room. I have loved working on this quilt because I love so many of the fabrics.

I have added this post to the linky party Confessions of a Fabric Addict.

I have started a new quilt. Yes another on in the list. I won a layer cake a few years back and had not done anything with it. Then I found more of the same fabric on sale for $6.00/m so I bought some more, enough I might also have the backing, binding and a boarder. I am using this simple block. I also did add in just a bit more lime green, te pack had some but not much so I have added a few fabrics not in the same line. It should work well.

I love the pink bird fabric.

I have been busy. So busy I have had trouble getting back to my blog, sorry. So last night I was teaching another quilt class. Many Trips Around the World. The photo is from 2014 when I last lead the class for the Leduc guild. This Saturday me and my students will be back at class. We are having so much fun.
