Design Wall Monday July 2nd
I have been playing around with some triangles. This first one is a set of triangles I had left over from a project many years ago. The light is a off white fabric maybe a bleached muslin. Not sure I like it. Soo
I got out the boxes of scraps and cut and sewed some triangles. Still playing around.
I added more colours.
Changed the layout more.
Here I have refined the plan a little more. I have the measuring tape on the side. You can see this is not big. I need a little mat for my side table and this is about the size I need. Now to sew it up.
I also sewed some blue strips together as this month the Rainbow Scrap Challenge colour is Blue.
I have added this post to Patchwork Times Design Wall Monday. and Manic Monday at Sew Happy Geek

I like how your triangle project is evolving and agree the later versions are more appealing than the the one with the plain white.ReplyDelete
I like the more colorful version better than the first, it is really picking up energy and appeal!ReplyDelete
Fun evolution on the triangles. What will the blue turn into?ReplyDelete
fun times! I like your various combinations.ReplyDelete
Great fun with scraps! And you're already making progress with your blues!ReplyDelete
Looks great! I think I like the 3rd layout the best :).ReplyDelete

I really like all your options. Here is one you didn't show, maybe tthought of it and it didn't even make the cut???ReplyDelete
What about a row of the white ones around the row of color, then you would, get a dark, medium, muslin thing going. Just a thought
I'm lovin those colors on your design wall, I like all the options.ReplyDelete
I think my favourite would be the last one with the tape measure along side. I really like the designReplyDelete
