I have been working on my Hexagons. I did a ton of basting and some sewing over the Easter weekend. I have been thinking I like this layout. I am not sure if I have enough green fabric but so far I like this the best. I have no idea how big I will make this quilt.
I thought I would show off this great fabric. I found the crazy vase fabric on clearance. I bought some not know how I would use it. It is perfect to fussy cut. I used a piece of fabric 20" by 28" to get the 6 repeats I needed.
I few more from the same fabric. I am getting more pink around the flowers.
Here is the same print in a different colour. I love the crazy vase flower on the bottom.

I love the way you are fussy cutting that print for your hexies. If I didn't have so many other things going, I just might.......

ReplyDeleteOh that kaleidoscope effect is very cool, I never would have thought of doing that, because you must admit the original was on the garish side.
